Violin, viola, and cello are just a handful of the instruments that this talented Christian family perform. This performance of their song, Tough As Nails, was inspired by the Mel Gibson film, the Passion of the Christ and puts the gospel message of the Crucifixion to a chamber pop groove.

And Kate told her friend; “I don’t consider myself Christian but I’m interested in reading lots about Islam.” Pari answered; “Mashallah, you are just like a Muslim without converting because you live as one.” Kate said, “She invited me to her house where I did the shahaada to convert to Islam. I previously thought that one can only do so in a mosque, but that wasn’t the case.” The Narrator: There are more than a few ways to discover a religion, and this must be one of the rare cases. Her interest in religions was vast, and she had a spiritual search. Kate read about Buddhism and Christian sects, but wasn’t satisfied until she discovered Islam. Kate said ” Simply, I found peace! The narrator said: What’s the next step? “I aim to increase my knowledge in Islam. I feel hope.” she said. The narrator: She grew up in a christian family so she had to deal with her prejudice of Islam before she could deal with others’. Kate tried to wear hijab close after she had converted, and she no longer felt welcomed. Kate said: I faced discrimination and ugly looks, which was a very awkward feeling. I’m usually the one who gets lots of help, when I ask for it. For example when I sat on the train; I asked the train conductor for the time. Jericho – Jean Marie Desir

Jean Marie Desir was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in a Christian family, the second eldest of 7 children, began singing for the Lord in his adolescent years at his local church in Petion-Ville, Haiti. At the age of 10, he realized he truly had a passion to sing for the glory of God, with whom he began to build a long-lasting relationship. Spring of 2003, Jean Marie Desir released the long awaited solo album “He’s Alive”, after three years hiatus by popular demand, Jean Marie has launched his second album in Creole/French/English entitled “JERICHO). Desir has been busy ministering and performing his anointed music on the road. As a vocalist, songwriter, composer, producer and performer, Desir garnered the respect of his peers within the Christian industry. His insightful use of words accompanied by an ability to convey the message, has lured the attention of even non-church members.
